happy first birthday to my portly son! classical musics weird bc folks will record stuff at the end of their touring cycles, and pop music will record things before their touring cycles but this was some secret third thing: music released in the middle of first performances and sometimes before first performances in the midst of a weird and bad time for everyone. it simultaneously feels like ive been working on this for a very long time (3.5 years at this point) while also having not having done much with it at all. the last few years have been odd. not sure how to express how i feel about it tbh. its been nice to share these pieces, especially earlier this year in boston/brooklyn. live performances of this take a lot out of me, but hopefully we go again soon. as always, big love to andrew for all of his help with this. and of course if you want to listen you can listen at the link in my bio. #classicalmusic #chambermusic #practice #music #electricguitar #newenglandconservatory #u...
