very, very happy to have received this wonderful guitar by @guitarras_graciliano this week!!!! over the past ~year i’ve been picking away at learning about flamenco as i can between my classical guitar obligations. it’s been rewarding, but tremendously difficult and it’s really amazing how technically it can differ so greatly from classical guitar. i spent all those years training my hands to work in one way, and it’s wild how just changing the angle of your hand a little has me feeling lost at sea. learning music by ear is..... not what this classical musician is good at. anyways, i’m always trying to learn and grow and this guitar is a great tool for that. i find flamenco to be a marriage of many of the things i love about classical, jazz, and folk musics so we keep pushing. it’s important to suck at things every now and then and figure out how to not suck. this is actually the first flamenco guitar i’ve ever played, and so many things about this music make much more sense now. lo...
