Perhaps you’ve wondered why there is so much CONVERSATION around solving the world’s problems, when instead there should just be ACTION. The reality is that both are important. Events like UNGA and the G20 (see previous #FridayFUNDays video!) help us get aligned on how to best accomplish important matters like the SDGs also known as the Global Goals. Think of the SDGs as the world’s school project, and these events as study sessions. It’s an opportunity for world leaders, advocates, organizations and institutions to raise, learn and discuss progress and obstacles that are preventing success. It’s also an important moment to keep each other accountable (no one wants that one person who’s in the group who doesn’t do anything but wants that good grade).
