Thank you, rsronsiu ! 🌙 “My poster ‘Night Fliers’ doubles as both a poster and a set of masks that viewers can choose to cut out and wear. This idea came after looking at Asian paper crafts and "toy prints" (prints that were intended for children to cut out and play with) from the 19th century. The imagery itself was inspired by gay-themed romance mangas which often feature characters in the throes of new adventures and awakening desires. I wanted viewers to be able to carry a sense of that fantasy, mystery and mischief with them wherever they go.
