A groovy new spot is about to make its debut on St. Pete Beach. hippieshackstpete has announced an October opening of its new restaurant and bar at 9555 Blind Pass Road, the former location of Sea Hags. Promising to be “an eatin’, drinkin’ and dancin’ kind of joint,” The Hippie Shack will be a throwback hangout with a full restaurant, craft cocktails, and a heavy serving of ‘60s and ‘70s tunes. There will be regular live music and dancing at the waterfront watering hole, as well, along with views of the sunset over the marina.
