SXSW for the LGBTQ+ community? Say no more. This month, queer icons like ‘Bros’ actor Billy Eichner, Indya Moore and Dyllon Burnside from ‘Pose,’ and ‘Queer Eye’ star Antoni Porowski are headed to Dallas for the first queer-centered business conference at UnleashedLGBTQ festival. ⁠ ⁠ Attendees can look forward to hearing from trans rights activist Naomi Green, catching some surprise drag performances, and listening in as the star-studded lineup talks about navigating the industry as queer and trans artists. ⁠ ⁠ “It’s far more impactful than just coming to plug their next movie or TV show or anything like that,” says event founder Wesley Smoot on the celebrities in the lineup. “We really want to hear from them and how they feel about a lot of the things that are going on, and how they managed to break through in the entertainment industry which, just like any other one, is not always the kindness to LGBTQ+ people.” Will you be in attendance?
