When I was getting recruited in high school I took a lot of recruiting visits. And of course, have some great stories about those trips. I recently made a video about my visit to Alabama. Here’s a new one… First, there was a rumor Urban Meyer cut his family vacation short just to make sure he was in person for our visit. Now Urban is a lot of things, and a great recruiter is one of them. He was laying out how I was going to have this great career as a Buckeye. The funniest part of the meeting was Urban Meyer shows me his championship rings and asks, “You want to try them on?” I laughed thinking he was kidding, but he of course I said yes. Sure enough, I tried on all of Coach Meyer’s championship rings. I know it sounds kind of odd, but it was honestly a good tactic. It reminded me of how much he’s won at Ohio State. Unfortunately, I don’t have any rings like that of my own. 😂 #cfb #collegefootball
