For her, that means leaning into agile—but it’s about more than just following a template. “If you really want to see change and success in your organization, start with the mindset,” says Ashraf. “That’s what motivates people intrinsically. What drives change is the agile mindset.”
While the aerospace industry is understandably “very risk-averse,” Ashraf has seen how integrating agile in traditional systems engineering frameworks can help teams nurture ideas faster to push innovation forward.
