Let’s talk about Alabama. The Crimson Tide played their first away game of 2023 vs. USF. After a so-so showing against Texas from Jalen Milroe, Nick Saban opted for Tyler Buchner and Ty Simpson in game 3. And it was arguably the worst QB performance we’ve ever seen in the Saban era. Bama’s 107 total passing yards were their lowest single-game total since 2007. The Tide escaped with a 17-3 victory but the main concern was the lack of fight and competitiveness… Which has been an iconic staple under Saban.
