During long races or even hard training rides, there’s always a time when a man/woman’s body will hit a wall and he/she has to rely solely on their machine to get them to the finish line. That’s exactly what happened to me at mile 60 of the dustbowl100 .. I was riding fantastic, was even with the top 40 riders, then my body said, “Ok, I’m going to take a lunch break now.” Thank GOD for the new santacruzbicycles Stigmata. This bike performed at the highest level, in terms of keeping me pedaling and engaged, especially when my body wouldn’t respond. The new geometry with a longer frame and slacker head tube angle, allowed me to relax and recover my 6’7 body for the next 40 miles to finish the 100 miles in a respectable 5.5 hours.. Thank you Santa Cruz for allowing me to be the honorary Waterboy rider for team ht.sqd, honored to ride the same machinery as badasses keegels99 alexisskarda mctubbbin.. #NewBikeDay #SweatToTheOldies 📸: amarcouxphotos titus.slaughter dweider
