Entergy is offering financial assistance to some struggling customers across Louisiana after record-breaking heat scorched the state and sent utility bills soaring. ⁠ ⁠ Entergy New Orleans is partnering with the New Orleans Council on Aging and Catholic Charities to provide financial relief to low-income, elderly and disabled customers struggling to pay their high energy bills. ⁠ ⁠ Through the relief program, Entergy will use half a million dollars to funnel $200 to eligible customers every six months. ⁠ ⁠ Assistance will be provided in both regions on a first come, first served basis, the utility said. ⁠ ⁠ Eligible customers are encouraged to apply as soon as possible due to high demand.⁠ ⁠ See if you qualify using the link in our bio. ⁠ ⁠ #entergy #news
