This family is finally reunited.⁠ ⁠ 32 year-old Kai Ye reunited with his biological parents in China; 28 years after he was abducted at a wet market as a child. He told local news outlets that he was taken to Guandong province before being trafficked to Singapore.⁠ ⁠ In 2021, Kai Ye asked the Baobei Huijia Volunteer Association to help him reunite with his biological parents. The charity is known for helping people find their biological families.⁠ ⁠ In July, Kai Ye’s biological mother reportedly encountered a video of him stating that he wanted to reunite with his biological family.
