Kelli Swenson lost her father to suicide in May of 2022. His family didn't know he was struggling; outwardly, it seemed like he was looking forward to semi-retirement with more time to spend on things he enjoyed. He was well-loved in his family and in the community, and had often helped others. In their father's obituary, Kelli and her family encourage anyone who is struggling to reach out for help—to someone close to them, to the national crisis line (988), or even to anyone in the Swenson family who has gone through this hard time. "There is no judgment, no condemnation. You are not alone, you matter, and you are loved."
