Strolling between rows of colorful peonies and potent lavender sticks, senior Sophie Bruck stops to examine a blooming rose at Trader Joe’s. She’s looking for flowers to make a bouquet for her mom. When putting all the flowers in the perfect order, picking out the right colors and arranging the bouquet, she discovered she had a knack for it. In the midst of her junior year homecoming, while preparing for the Saturday night dance, an additional person was added to her dinner group at the last minute.
