Good to be back behind the microphone for my first cross country meet of the season—the wwuathletics Bill Roe Classic. • There’s a bit of significance in announcing this particular meet, as I consider the man who this meet is named after as a mentor and a lifelong friend who passed away too soon. • It’s only fitting that this meet was held five days after his birthday. • The last photo is a sample of my announcer’s sheet for cross country, where I introduce the teams, followed by their box assignment, rankings, resumes & top runners.
