Trivia Afraid of Lightning-Craddock is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Lakota Tribe who has struggled with the same generational traumas of many of her relatives and ancestors. She found herself facing crippling issues of self-esteem, racial identity, and depression which led to substance abuse and suicidal ideation. In 2003, Trivia attempted to take her life, and thankfully, is still alive today. Today, Trivia uses the foundation of her Lakota culture as a form of healing, and advocates for all her relatives' health and wellness.
