At a final table of players who had already found the winner's circle at the 2023 Poker Masters, it was two who hadn't battling heads-up for the title.
In the end, Justin Bonomo would defeat Daniel Rezaei to claim his first ever Poker Masters win.
Bonomo started the day as the chip leader, while Rezaei started as the shortest stack, and it was Bonomo did most of the heavy lifting throughout the day, eliminating Stephen Chidwick, Andrew Lichtenberger, Orpen Kisacikoglu, and Chino Rheem.
Heads-up would be a back and forth affair, but after an amazing ace-high call, Bonomo closed out the tournament and found a win of his own.
For the victory, Bonomo takes home $333,000 and 200 PGT points placing him 7th on the leaderboard heading into the final event.
