Cade McNamara will make things work. ‌ When he was in 7th grade, his Dad told me he would drive his son out from Nevada to Orange County for one session a month. I told him it would only be helpful if Cade worked his butt off the other 29 days of the month, and I hadn’t seen too many middle schoolers with the discipline to do that. Cade made it work. ‌ When he needed to rehab last winter, he went out to the best spot he could find. Didn’t matter that he had to spend the first week or so sleeping in an office space. Cade made it work. ‌ Tonight he’s rolling into Happy Valley in a Whiteout to try to steal a win from a team a lot of folks think can win the Big 10.
