Jonathan Jaffe captures victory in the final event of the 2023 Poker Masters, earning the win in Event
#10: $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em for $756,000.
Jaffe started the day second in chips but clawed past Chino Rheem and never looked back on his way to the title, improving his heads-up record in live tournaments to 12 - 4, according to gpithm.
Play began with a nearly three-hour bubble, which was eventually busted when Cary Katz was eliminated in 7th place by Alex Foxen.
From there it was a dash to the finish line with Chidwick eliminating Nick Petrangelo and Brian Kim, while Jaffe took care of Chino Rheem and Alex Foxen.
With Foxen's elimination, Chidwick secured the title of series champion and the esteemed Purple Jacket, plus a $50,000 championship bonus.
It was not long after that Jaffe closed out the event, spiking a three-outer three to eliminate Chidwick. With that he claimed the final prize of the 2023 Poker Masters, earning $756,000.
