The most underrated family in football history…. They’re often referred to as the NFL’s “First family” The Matthews family. And it’s easy to see why because they’re one of only five third-generation NFL families. The Matthews legacy started way back in 1949 Clay Matthews Sr. His sons Clay Jr. and Bruce were both NFL stars, and had successful careers. Bruce is a Hall of Famer, while Clay Jr. deserves recognition for his impressive tackles record. Their kids, Casey, Clay III, Kevin, and Jake, also had NFL careers, with Jake and Clay making significant contributions. The Matthews have sent 7 players to the league and have combined for 25 pro bowls and 11 All-pro selections. #nfl #nflfootball
