Centre[3] is pleased to present “Carmela Laganse: In Process”. “Carmela Laganse: In Process” is part of our short video series, “Collapsing the Distance Between Us.” Each piece in this series goes behind the scenes, visiting different art studios to listen and learn from local artists and their unique artistic practices. Carmela Laganse’s practice engages with intersections of embodied experience and perception as well as exploring the agency embedded in objects and environments. Working in a variety of media, she often builds interactive work or portable, modular environments that playfully and critically integrate physical, emotional, ritualistic, and intellectual processes through an intersectional lens.
