When I picked up the pencils again in 2019, I knew it was only a matter of time before I got back into drawing hockey players. At that time I was relatively new to producing professional works so I wanted to wait until I was confident enough to do justice to a sports piece. The time finally came in the summer of 2020 when I had the courage to attempt it. That drawing of Forsberg changed my life and launched my career as a sports pencil artist. Fast forward a few years and I've seen my technique improve to the point where I felt I could honour Forsberg with another piece.
