Still, last night, they were no match for the brilliance of Benny Ball. The manager who was once shoved out of DC, moved on to the 25th-placed team in the league last year and now delivers silverware in his first season with the Dynamo. All a decade after achieving his first US Open Cup victory in 2013. Couldn’t be more poetic if you tried. The entire Houston squad also has to be commended. They went into the epicenter of the latest soccer boom in our country and walked away with the trophy aloft.
