Strength. It usually isn’t what you see on the outside. In this case it was. This is one of the things I’m most proud of: a few years of dedication and hard work to deadlift and all-time best. 3️⃣0️⃣3️⃣ lbs. Something I never thought possible. 👏🏻And that day, I made it look easy.👏🏻 Dayuuuum. Okay girl. Go then. Take your dance at the end. 💁🏼‍♀️🪩 I’m RIDICULOUSLY proud of that accomplishment and what it took to get there. Consistent HARD work. Commitment. Dedication. Grit. Belief. FAILURE. Practice. Habit changes. Hard choices. Easy ones. Wonder Woman Converse. SWEAT. Literal blood (sometimes calluses have had enough and break - don’t we all?). REST. Injury. Patience. And so on. What you didn’t see? Gym sessions I cried at because training at that intensity digs up some old shit, reveals new shit, and like Superman opening his shirt to reveal the giant S, reveals one’s heart and vulnerability.
