The thing is, we all have our insecurities. No matter how far we’ve come or how much we’ve changed our bodies, what we see in the mirror is often a reflection of our darkest thoughts, about ourselves. And what we see are often lies. But we see them nonetheless.

I don’t know a single person who doesn’t look in the mirror and see some fault (or a whole list of them) in themselves. We are our own worst critics.

For me, my strength transformation started from the inside out. Yes - my body changed. Yes - I was happy to see myself getting leaner. And of course, I felt more confident in my own skin. But my body changing did NOT eliminate all my insecurities. And I just feel it’s important to call that out. It’s something many people don’t talk about or acknowledge.
