And usually it isn’t with their words. Facing our demons is hard. Owning our shit is harder. Most of us struggle to do either, let alone both. So we deflect. We busy ourselves. Find ways to cope. Usually unhealthy ways. And we think no one notices. Yet many do. Behavior tells us more than words. What truth are you telling? And how are you telling it? Do you own your shit? Are you trying? Or are you masking it all with other things? It isn’t easy. And it’s always a journey with what seems like no end. To find ourselves. Love ourselves. And live authentically in who we are. Maybe it’s time to stop running. Maybe it’s time to pause. Reflect. And own that which is ours to own. Maybe it’s time. What truth do you want to be told about you? What will your legacy be?
