When throughout your life you’ve been judged by some for your appearance, you begin to own their opinion. You start feeling like you never quite measure up, certain you’ll never be enough. I think it’s a battle many of us fight for much of our lives. Taking the opinions of others and wearing it like truth. Except it’s not. It’s not truth. And we don’t need to wear it.

I’ve been slowly undressing the layers of others’ judgements over the last couple years. It’s hard and diligent work. A battle that doesn’t seem to cease. Although I hope it does.
