California Dreamin'. 🏝 There's no place my wild heart and fiery soul feel more at home, than on the ocean's edge. . This picture was taken during the early months of an unexpected and major transition in my life, in April of 2016. There are so many feels I have when I look at this girl, staring into the horizon. She made a point that day, to begin the process of intentionally and consciously letting go. . To let go of the things holding her back. The old stories. The people who didn't serve her. The expectations that were not to be. . It's a lifelong process, really. And the sooner we realize that, the earlier we will find peace. . I'm a work in progress. I'm still learning to let go. But the feeling of freedom and peace is incredible when you realize you've made strides in letting go of the old stories that no longer serve you. .
