YOU GUUUUUUYS!!! Can you believe it? My first lifting competition and I walk away with this?! A sword (yes - a real sword) for my first place in bench for my age/class, a medal for the first in deadlift and a MN state record for that 4th dead lift at 220lbs. All lifts done raw. No suits here! I'm still processing this. Seriously. I'm just filled with wonder and excitement and "I can't wait to do it again". Having a hard time making sense of it all...because I never, ever in a million, katrillion years would've thought I'd have enough courage to do something like this. I'm giddy!
