Legal studies cadets are breaking down barriers and hoping to help tackle tough issues at #youracademy. They created the Encouraged to Report policy for their capstone project, aimed at protecting witnesses and victims of less severe crimes. Academy senior leaders signed the policy allowing air officers commanding to exercise discretion in punishing collateral misconduct for cadets who report hazing, harassment and bullying as either witnesses or victims as well as those who report sexual assault as witnesses.
