Today’s #FirstieFriday is a future @spaceforcedod officer who’s involved in a number of activities across campus. C1C Haena Lee is from Austin, TX and is majoring in astronautical engineering. She’s been on the National Character and Leadership Symposium organizing team, helps with the Academy Assembly, Schulte Assembly and Eaker Lecture, and uses her space warfighting minor when giving tours of the Space Systems Research Center. Haena is also squadron commander of CS-12 and a member of the Teal Rope program, helping improve awareness and prevention of sexual assault. She says the @usafatealrope program is meaningful because it is transparent and clearly takes feedback from cadets to enact policies and programs to better the Academy as a whole.
