A few football players, cheerleaders and the Bird joined Academy leaders, supporters and project funders for the ceremonial start of the Falcon Stadium east side renovation. The facelift for the 60 -year-old facility is being done in phases. This phase includes creating a new east entrance, adding a heritage plaza, updating event space, improving seating and other additions all aimed at improving the fan and visitor experience. Most events will continue at the stadium during the renovation, which should be done by the 2024 football season. The Air Force Academy Foundation and the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation are raising the funds for the east side upgrades. #goairforce #youracademy @af_falcons
