#YourAcademy is a family affair for this week's #FirstieFriday. C1C Gavin Peene is following in his two older brothers' footsteps. His brother Griffin graduated in 2020 and Quin is class of 2021. Plus, his younger brother Wes is class of 2025. All four brothers also play or played on the AF lacrosse team. @af_lax Gavin says he's particularly proud of Griffin who recently returned from a 6-month combat tour in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Quin commissioned into the Space Force and currently serves as an acquisition officer. Throughout his career here, Gavin says he's been challenged in the classroom, on the field, and in military training and it's been the most rewarding experience of his life. As for advice for other cadets, he says, "You're going to have a bad day here and there, but don't panic because there will always be something positive to come out of it."
