#YourAcademy's summer cadet wing commander kicks off Class of 2023 #FirstieFridays! C1C Julia Gundlach is from O'Fallon, IL and is no stranger to the @usairforce or Academy. Her father is a '92 grad, her uncle and grandfather also served in the AF, and her brother just joined the Class of 2026! In addition to her stint as summer wing commander, Julia currently serves as @cs35wildweasels commander and is a member of the @af_triathlon club team. The aeronautical engineering major hopes to be a pilot after graduation, inspired in part by the amazing memories she created while taking the airmanship course here - jump, soaring and powered flight.
