Cadets from the Class of 2026 were encouraged to be fearless learners during today's ceremonial kickoff to the academic year. At #youracademy's convocation, Dean of Faculty Brig. Gen. Linell Letendre and faculty speaker Maj. Jamil Brown encouraged the cadets beginning their academic careers to seek support from their classmates, faculty and staff as they face the rigors of the challenging courseload required at the Academy. They also emphasized the changing character of conflict these future officers will be dealing with upon graduation and how they'll need to be agile, innovative thinkers to be able to adapt to the ever-changing battlefield.
