He's a '92 grad of #youracademy and became a Navy SEAL after cross-commissioning at graduation. This week @usnavy Capt (ret) John Doolittle was back on campus to talk with C3Cs about lessons learned during his 25 years in the military. Doolittle was real and didn't hold back when talking about details and discipline and how they can make a difference in life and death downrange. He shared stories about how attitude (good and bad) is contagious and how trust is vital in building and maintaining meaningful relationships and successful teams. He was also forthcoming about the impacts of stress and burnout in the military- sharing the difficult loss of a friend and fellow SEAL to suicide. Doolittle says don't ignore the signs in yourself or your teammates.
