Cadets from #youracademy ran their way to some impressive finishes at the Colorado Marathon over the weekend.🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ C1C Andrea Almodovar took first place🥇 among women (22nd overall). It was her second-ever marathon and she ran it in three hours--- more than eight minutes ahead of the next woman in the race. She says she ran with some other cadets from the @usafamarathon team for the first several miles and they helped her keep a great pace. C3C Andrew Schaeffer, C2C Cristian Montelongo and C3C Andrew Aderhold finished 5-6-7 in the men's competition. Andrea is working on her biology degree and hopes to be a pilot ✈️ or combat systems operator in the @usairforce after she graduates in May. #USAFA2022 #wingmen #letsfly
