When you hear the roar of jet engines over Falcon Stadium on Saturday, it will officially be FALCON FOOTBALL SEASON! That sweet sound will be made by 4 F-16s from @lukeafb … and not only are all the pilots Academy grads, but Maj Kristopher “Swat” Holstege was also a falcon football player and is flying over a football game for the first time since graduating in 2005.
“This is a very meaningful experience for me … I vividly remember the flybys when I was a cadet and how inspiring it was to me. Additionally, one of the people who inspired me to want to become a pilot has a grandson at USAFA, and he will be at the game.”
The #USAFAfamily is in full force this weekend! #longblueline#boltbrotherhood#letsfly@af_falcons@af_football
