Awesome story for Father’s Day from one of our grads: ⁣ My dad was my inspiration for joining the @usairforce. He graduated from the Air Force Academy in ‘89, went to pilot training, and had a career as a tanker pilot before getting hired by American Airlines where he still flies today. Growing up, there was this one picture we had in our house of my dad in T-38 pilot training, in all his flight gear, that I was fascinated by as a kid. Even though I decided to take a different route in the Air Force, I knew I would try and find a way to recreate that picture. A few months back, I was lucky enough to get a ride in the backseat of a T-38 here at Langley AFB and the whole time I kept smiling just imagining my dad doing the same thing 30 years before.
