The symbolism within this photo was striking on so many levels. We have MSgt Christopher Dooley performing the final check of our cadets prior to their graduation march-on. Even with the music playing, the cadets were not released until they were at their absolute best. It may seem simple in the large scheme of things, but this is an image all of our newly minted second lieutenants should take stock of. As you embark on your Air Force journeys, you will be charged with leading our enlisted men and women — the backbone of the most powerful Air Force the world has ever known — never take them for granted.
