November 9 will mark the 50th Anniversary of the day Capt. Lance P. Sijan was shot down over North Vietnam. Follow along as we highlighting his life and sacrifice this week. A '65 Academy grad, he is the only grad to receive the Medal of Honor. After being shot down he evaded capture for more than six weeks and was then held as a POW at the Hanoi Hilton, dying in January 1968 after months of torture.
