For the first time in 17 years, the Loyola women’s volleyball team (25-8, 17-1) is lacing up its dancing shoes for the NCAA tournament. The team is set to face No. 15 University of Kentucky — also 2020 National Champions — Dec. 1. “It’s going to be a challenge, but we're excited for it,” Loyola Head Coach Amanda Berkley said. “We need to come out and just do what we've done this whole season and that's just play fearless and play competitive, aggressive volleyball.” This season, the team won their second-straight regular season conference title Nov. 12 and first Atlantic 10 conference championship Nov. 20.
