“I’ve been doing nails since elementary school,” sophomore distance runner Nora Wollen said laughing. “I remember I would do a design and then pick off my nail polish the same day just so I could do a new design. That’s when I really fell in love with nail art.” Wollen is currently finishing out her second year as a distance runner, striving to set new expectations for her improvement every day, though she finds herself bonding with her teammates off the track by painting their nails as a side business. Wollen has grown her clientele from friends and family to students on campus in the last two years, grounding herself from her track career using a passion of hers that she’s adored since she was little.
