A horse can change gullet width quite quickly, while he is still growing (until 6 or 7 years old), or when developping his musculature (increased work or change in work routine) for example. š¦
Remember to get the fit of your saddle checked every time your horse changes shape! š§
Feeling like your balance point has changed when sitting in the saddle, and that you're now being tilted forward or backwards, is also a good indication that the fit of your saddle should be checked. š
