Like many horses and ponies atm, the rich grasses are causing havoc with their weight and many presenting with laminitis and obesity. The advantage of the cold salt water treadmill is that we are able to gently introduce an exercise program, whilst reducing the inflammation in their feet and providing an analgesic effect with the chilled salt water.
