Smathers beach is one of the few sandy areas for tourists to soak up some of the sun in Key West. There are plenty of rentals such as kayaks, sailboats, and beach chairs to enjoy your time in the sun. The beach faces the east so if you wake up early enough you can catch a sunrise.
