While walking around the John Pennekamp State park in Key Largo I didn’t have much luck trying to take photos. This self portrait was the best one in my opinion. The next two were the only semi decent shots I could manage. A lot of this was due to the weather fighting against me. Combining super high winds and bright sun makes long exposures and bracketing almost impossible. Instead of just deleting them all and moving on I left two of my butchered shots at the end to show what can happen. The first one (boardwalk) looks fine at first, I was trying to bracket a set of photos to make sure the darks of the wood weren’t crushed and the sky wasn’t blown out. But due to how windy it was the leaves in the top section where moving in a such a way that editing programs have a hard time locking them in place, creating this awkward blur look.
