Sometimes sunrise can be more of a cloud rise. And that’s the cruel twist of fate that the weather can give you. I woke up at 5am to drive an hour to Miami Beach one morning from my hotel in homestead. Semi awake I ran out to the beach trying to find a place to setup, create a composition I liked and began to pray that this cloud bank would burn off to give me a slash of color. Yet I got a worst case scenario, all clouds and light rays far off into the distance, being left with only thick grey clouds and the thought of what could have been.
