The Catch It starts with survey the water from above and then lining up it’s dive. The Osprey then maneuvers and fires itself like a middle into the water and resurfaces with its catch in its talons. As the fish dangles from its claws the bird of prey combs the area for a place to eat its catch. I was able to take this sequence of photos as the storm kicked in at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne. The wind was strong enough where the Osprey could fly almost motionless in one place along the shoreline above.
