Sunrise at the Z Tree. A secret unmarked location in the @evergladesnps What is being a travel photographer like? It’s searching for a specific spot that isn’t marked on a map. It’s going there the day before to make sure you can find it. It’s waking up 2 hours before sunrise to get there in time. It’s spending time trying to figure out a composure. And it’s taking over 100s of photos for maybe like 5 good ones. Then the additional time it takes to figure out which one you like more. That’s actually the hardest part. The I woke up at 5am feeling starts off with nothing but regret for waking up early, followed by a wave of adrenaline to go capture a banger, then post golden hour the “wow” factor wears off and you try to find the closest place for coffee.
